A intensely deep ruby red wine with a rich combination of spicy and fresh berry aromas. On the palate are raspberry and cedar flavours and soft smooth tannins for a generous, well structured and lengthy finish.
Crafted entirely from 100% Cabernet Franc handpicked
Wairarapa grapes, this wine has matured in French oak
for 15 months providing an excellent integration of fruit and oak. Only released for drinking in 2007, this little beauty will develop with
further cellaring over the next 5-7 years.
We suggest that this wine would be a fine match with flavoursome cheeses, pâté and red meat dishes.
